Course overview:

Teaching science is something that only a few endeavor to do, and fewer still actually do it well.  This course is meant to give the preservice science teacher many opportunities to reflect upon and design science curricula for the classroom.  However, this class is not a list of lesson plans and assessment strategies.  Students in this course will experiment with their own curricula, teaching strategies, and assessments in order to develop a coherent philosophy and approach for teaching science.
