Constructing a Test

Test construction consists of the following stages.

The planning stage includes creating good objectives and developing a test blueprint.

The development stage presents general guidelines on how to create good test questions and discuss specific guidelines for creating true/false, multiple-choice, matching, short-answer, and essay questions.

The implementation stage focuses on how to assemble, administer, and analyze and revise the tests.
