The instructional designers at WSU Online are pleased to present this workshop to you. We hope this can benefit you and help you develop great tests. We will be providing you with feedback throughout this course and are happy to interact with you. Also, feel free to reach out to us with any questions as you move through this course.

Tim Maw - Main Facilitator

Hello everyone. My name is Tim Maw and I work as an instructional designer with WSU Online. I will be the main facilitator of this course and will most likely be the one grading assignments and giving you feedback. I look forward to interacting with you. 

A little about me, I have worked at WSU since November 2021. I love Weber State and got my bachelor's degree in Spanish here as most of my family has also attended Weber. I previously worked at Davis Technical College as an instructional designer there. Their courses are mostly competency-based and self-paced which I feel helps me to understand the challenges, and benefits, of the course you are currently taking. I also have an MEd in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from Utah State University. 

Personally, I live in Plain City with my wife and three little boys; we keep busy! I love to play tabletop games, attend WSU basketball and football games, watch baseball games, and be active. That can include running, biking, or jumping on the trampoline with the boys. If you want to spend some time chatting about any of those things, I'd be happy to take a few minutes.
