Phase-1: High Voltage Safety Training (HVST)

The entire automotive industry is moving towards electrification. Don’t fall behind in automotive technology training, get prepared for the high voltage vehicles of yesterday, today, and the future with our three-phase training program. Learn about the laws, regulations, standards, and equipment designed to protect you from potentially hazardous high voltage conditions on hybrid and electric vehicles.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard 1910.132 requires that employers provide training to each employee who is required to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This class can be used to help meet that requirement in the automotive field.

A High Voltage Safety Training Certificate of Completion from Weber State University will be provided upon successful completion of this course.
