Research how that treaty figured into claims made by the Indian nation. (Indian Claims Commission Decisions) Links to an external site.

Write a paper (4-6 paragraphs) in which you present your research. Your paper should include:

• a summary of the treaty -- focusing on the losses or gains for the tribe involved (The tribe may have agreed to more than one treaty with the U.S.; you need focus on only one.)
• a summary of claims the tribe made against the U.S. for not fulfilling the terms of the treaty
• information about what the tribe did with the judgement. (You might check the tribe's web site or use a Google search.)
